Tudo Sobre Protetores Diários Reutilizáveis
A reusable pantyliner might be the easiest start to a more sustainable choice. Smaller than a menstrual pad, easy to wash, and suitable for many more situations than you might think.
On this page you will read everything about how our pantyliners are made, which variant suits you and how to use and wash them.
What do you use a reusable pantyliner for?
- Daily discharge — Almost every woman has daily discharge. A reusable pantyliner keeps your underwear fresh without using a new disposable liner every day.
- Light bleeding — On the lightest days of your period, or with intermenstrual bleeding, a pantyliner provides sufficient protection without the bulk of a menstrual pad.
- Light incontinence — A small leak when sneezing, coughing, laughing or jumping. It happens to many women, at any age. A reusable pantyliner catches this without you noticing.
- Daily comfort — Some women always wear a pantyliner, as an extra layer of protection or because they find it comfortable. That works perfectly with a reusable one.
Pantyliners are also a nice way to start with reusable produtos. You get used to the concept, and before you know it, you wonder why you didn't start earlier.
How is it made?
The top layer — what touches your skin
Just like our menstrual pads, we offer the pantyliners in four top layers, so you can choose what feels most comfortable:
| Camada Superior | Sensação | Adequado para |
|---|---|---|
The Core — Absorption Layer
The core consists of one layer of flannel cotton. Flannel is a lightly woven cotton fabric that feels soft and provides sufficient absorption for daily use. It is deliberately thinner than the core of a menstrual pad — this keeps the pantyliner slim and invisible under your clothing.
The Back Layer — Protective Layer
The back layer is made of anti-pill microfleece, the same breathable protective layer as our menstrual pads. Moisture does not pass through, but air does. This makes the pantyliner comfortable to wear all day.
Nota
Our pantyliners do not have a PUL leak-proof layer. They are designed for light use. For moderate to heavy urine loss, we recommend our incontinence pads, which do have a PUL layer.
Which size fits you?
We offer five variants, each for a different situation or preference
| Variante | Comprimento | Adequado para |
|---|---|---|
| String | 15 cm | Wearing a thong? This model fits perfectly |
| Mini | 14 cm | Minimal protection, barely noticeable |
| Regular | 20 cm | The most chosen size, suitable for most women |
| Regular without wings | 20 cm | For women who cycle or ride horses a lot |
| Maxi | 24 cm | A bit more length for extra security |
Wings or no wings?
Most pantyliners have wings that snap under your underwear with snaps. This keeps the pantyliner firmly in place. Do you cycle or ride horses a lot? Then the snaps under the saddle can feel uncomfortable.
The variant without wings simply lies loose in your underwear — less side protection, but much more comfortable when sitting on a saddle for long periods.
How long can you wear a pantyliner?
That depends on what you use it for:
- With light bleeding — change every 4 to 6 hours, just like with menstrual pads.
- With discharge or daily use — you can wear it for 6 to 8 hours. Listen to your body and change when it no longer feels fresh.
How to wash reusable pantyliners?
The washing instructions are simple and the same as our menstrual pads
With bleeding — cold pre-soak
Rinse the liner cold before putting it in the washing machine. This can be done in a bucket of cold water, under the cold tap or on a cold pre-wash program in the washing machine. Cold water prevents blood from setting into the fabric.
With discharge or urine — directly in the washing machine
No pre-soaking needed. Just put the liner with the laundry.
Wash at 40—60 degrees
Wash at 40 to 60 degrees. Do <strong style="color: var(--lp-red);">not use fabric softener</strong> — fabric softener affects the absorbency of the core.
Line dry
Preferably line dry. The pantyliners are thin and dry quickly.
How long do they last?
With proper use, reusable pantyliners last several years. The more carefully you wash and dry them, the longer they last.
How many do you need?
That depends on how you use them. As a daily pantyliner, you need at least <strong style="color: var(--lp-red);">7</strong> — one per day, so you always have a clean one while the rest are in the wash.
If you also use them during your period, you'll want more.
A good starter set
A good starter set is 10 to 14 pieces. This way you always have enough, even if you don't wash every day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are reusable pantyliners also suitable for light incontinence?
Yes, for a small leak when sneezing, coughing or jumping, they provide sufficient protection. Do you have more urine loss? Then we recommend our incontinence pads — they have an extra PUL leak-proof layer.
Are they also suitable for thongs?
Yes! We have a special string model of 15 cm that fits a thong or tanga.
Doesn't it feel thick or uncomfortable?
No. The core consists of one thin layer of flannel cotton. The pantyliner is slim and barely noticeable under your clothing.
Can I wear them even if I don't have any complaints?
Absolutely. Many women wear them daily for extra comfort or to protect their underwear. That's exactly what they are designed for.
